    Society For Journalist Health Care Committee’s Health Checkup Camp Concluded

    Journalists undergo a lot of stress day in and day out discharging their duties for society and their respective organisations. They have little time left out of their busy schedule to think of themselves and their health. That’s why  Society for Journalist Health Care Committee decided to organise this camp not only for journalists but their family members too and also people in general around. There was a good response to the camp. The committee would organise such camps further too: Society for Journalist Health Care Committee president Manish Shrivastava

    Bhopal: Society for Journalist Health Care Committee’s free health checkup camp concluded on Sunday at Pandit Sheetal Prasad Tiwari Vachnalaya premises in Shivaji Nagar.

    BJP leader and Apollo Sage Hospital’s Dr Hitesh Vajpayee extended special support to organising of the camp.

    As per a press release issued by the committee, a large number of journalists and their family members as well as a large number of local people turned up for check-up at this three-hour camp, courtesy Apollo Sage Hospital, Ward 46 corporator Yogendra Guddu Chauhan and Sanskruti Bachao Manch convenor Chandrashekhar Tiwari.

    Former Madhya Pradesh minister and Congress leader PC Sharma also reached there with his wife and got a checkup done. Various tests were conducted.

    Under the leadership of Dr Anand Jat, cardiologist and diabetes specialist of Apollo Sage Hospital, experienced doctors and paramedical staff of the hospital conducted vital checkups of journalists, family members of journalists and others who turned up at the camp.

    The tests during check-up were conducted for blood pressure, random blood sugar etc while ECG, dental checkup and certain other tests were also conducted and there was free consultation.

    The office bearers and members of the society expressed their gratitude to the Apollo Sage Hospital team, local corporator Guddu Chauhan, Pandit Chandrashekhar Tiwari and BJP leader and pillar of Apollo Sage Hospital Dr Hitesh Vajpayee for the special cooperation in organizing the camp successfully.

    Those from the committee who contributed mainly to organising of the camp successfully include committee president Manish Shrivastava, patron Deepak Tiwari, treasurer Sanjeev Shrivastava, Virendra Sinha, Suhdir Nigam, Brajesh Rajput and KD Sharma.
