The new daily flight- AI557 will depart from Mumbai at 18:05 to arrive at Bhopal at 19:45 and then flight AI558 will depart from Bhopal at 20:15 to arrive at Mumbai at 22:05
Bhopal: A new flight by Air India between Bhopal and Mumbai was inaugurated on Sunday with cake-cutting by the first passenger for the flight from Bhopal and the airport director, Bhopal handing over the boarding pass to her, as per information shared by Bhopal airport authorities on social media platform X on Sunday night.
As per the information, the new daily flight- AI557 will depart from Mumbai at 18:05 to arrive at Bhopal at 19:45 and then flight AI558 will depart from Bhopal at 20:15 to arrive at Mumbai at 22:05.
With the new flight added, the number of daily flights between Bhopal and Mumbai has risen to 4, as per the official information.

Earlier, on Friday, chairman Airports Authority of India Vipin Kumar (IAS) visited Bhopal for attending virtual inauguration of Datia & Satna Airports from Bhopal done by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday.
Airport director Ramjee Awasthi welcomed the chairman.
The chairman inspected the ongoing infrastructure development works and conducted a detailed review of airport operations.
“He emphasized the importance of timely project execution, strict adherence to safety protocols, and enhancing passenger convenience”, shared on official X handle of Bhopal airport.

During the interaction with AAI staff at Bhopal airport, chairman appreciated the efforts of everyone & welcomed suggestions for operational improvements.
He also visited CISF barracks, interacted with CISF personnel and inaugurated the CISF Welfare Store at Bhopal Airport — a facility offering daily-use FMCG goods at discounted prices for CISF personnel.
At the Airport Fire Station of Bhopal Airport, the chairman interacted with the ARFF team and reviewed fire safety preparedness.
He was presented with the ceremonial Guard of Honour by dedicated ARFF personnel.
He visited the Aviation Security Training Institute (ASTI) at the Bhopal Airport.
Airport director Ramjee Awasthi briefed him regarding various courses being conducted and the strong performance of ASTI, Bhopal.
The director apprised that more than 1300 trainees had been successful trained at ASTI since its establishment and approval by BCAS in 2023.
