The acquittal of all the accused in the Malegaon blast case is a massive blow on the Congress exposing its narrow mindset
-Chief minister Madhya Pradesh Dr Mohan Yadav
Bhopal: Acquittal of all the accused in Malegaon bomb blast case on Thursday (July 31) had its ripple effect in Madhya Pradesh in particular with Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) seeking apology from the Congress and senior Congress leader Digvijaya Singh trying to steer clear of the controversy that it’s he who had raised the term ‘Hindu terror’.
Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav and newly elected state BJP president Hemant Khandelwal led the BJP’s attack on the Congress in Madhya Pradesh while the Opposition Congress looked defensive on the issue.
Reaching upon the court’s verdict Dr Mohan Yadav said, “The acquittal of all the accused in the Malegaon blast case is a massive blow on the Congress exposing its narrow mindset.”
Chief minister said, “Congress which created narratives like “Hindu terrorism” should always remember that a Hindu can never be a terrorist. The decision of the court is a strong reply to those who insult Sanatan Dharma, saints and saffron. Congress should publicly apologize to all Sanatanis.”

State BJP president Hemant Khandelwal said, “The Congress had made an organized effort to tarnish the image of Hindu society.”
He added, “After 17 years of suffering, social boycott and political attacks, today the decision of the court to acquit all the 7 accused in the Malegaon blast case is commendable.”
He added, “Congress and its allies not only implicated innocent people but also made an organized effort to tarnish the image of the entire Hindu society due to the greed for vote bank and politics of appeasement. Today, the court has exposed their false narrative. This verdict is a lesson for all those who coin offensive terms like “saffron terror” for vote bank politics.”

State BJP general secretary (organisation) Hitanand Sharma said, “The group that has been attacking Sanatan for a long time given its greed of vote bank is today shamelessly raising questions on the decision of the court.”
These are the same people who were silently supporting the release of the terrorists guilty of the Mumbai local train blasts by keeping their mouths shut, he added.
He said, “For a long time, the Congress and its allies have been hatching conspiracies in this country by targeting ‘Sanatan and saffron’ in a planned manner.”

Senior BJP leader and MLA Archna Chitnis said, “The Congress stands exposed for creating a false narrative of Hindu terror, with the court’s verdict. Those Congress leaders who deliberately and mischievously coined the term Hindu terror in a bid to defame Sanatan Dharm must apologize to the entire country for what they had done.”

It was only yesterday that senior Congress leader and Rajya Sabha MP Digvijaya Singh reposted a post which talked of the verdict on Malegaon blast case to be delivered on Thursday but on Thursday his twitter account was silent on the verdict.
When confronted by journalists to seek his reaction of the verdict Digvijaya Singh said, “I never coined the term Hindu terror. I have been saying for a long time that no religion can be linked with terror. This is what the court has said in its verdict. I have been saying this right from the beginning.”
He said every religion taught people love, truth and non-violence. It’s not appropriate to link any religion with terror.
However, he asked, where were Ramji Kalsangra and Sandeep Dange who were absconding and had a reward of Rs 10 lakh on their heads?
