Bhopal: Noted practising radiologist and social worker Dr Shailesh Lunawat was honoured with Sanjeevani award in the regional conference of Lions International held today, for his selfless social service.
Dr Lunawat was conferred upon Sanjeevani award in the grand conference by chief guest in the function Raju Manwani from Mumbai and regional chairman of Lions International Gyandev Mishra.
On this occasion, the organisation appreciated the social work, a journey he started decades back, rendered through humanitarian approach by Dr Lunawat.
Lion Kamal Bhandari, Dr RK Chaursia, Manish Shah, Suyash Kulshreshtha and others congratulated Dr Lunawat on being conferred upon the award.
Dr Lunawat who follows Jainism strictly and holds various positions in Jain Samaj and medical fraternity has been organising free mega health camps for decades besides helping the poor and needy in slum areas and outside in Bhopal through various means with a dedicated team of volunteers.
